How fire safety is enforced in Crewe
Crewe is covered by Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service. In the year to March 2025 it carried out 2,040 fire safety audits, and 8.1% found premises unsatisfactory: the lowest rate of any fire and rescue service in England.

Annual refresher training is appropriate for most premises. New starters should receive induction training before they take up their role. When the building's evacuation procedure changes, all staff should be retrained on the new procedure.
