Fletcher Risk Receives Defence Employer Recognition Scheme Bronze Award
We are proud to announce that Fletcher Risk has been awarded Bronze under the Ministry of Defence's Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, which recognises businesses that support the Armed Forces community.
The scheme rewards employers who back serving personnel, reservists, veterans, cadet force adult volunteers and their families. Awards are made at Bronze, Silver and Gold, with each level reflecting a deeper commitment from the organisation. Our listing will appear on the official scheme register shortly.
A team with strong Forces links
Military service runs through our business. Several members of the team have served, and our managing director, Tom Fletcher, spent seven years as an RAF officer, including service in Afghanistan. He now serves as a Major in the Army Reserves, balancing his reserve commitments with running the company.
Tom said: "We want to be an employer where reservists and veterans feel valued, so this recognition means a great deal to the whole team."
Growing across the UK
Fletcher Risk was founded in Chester in 2017 and provides fire risk assessments, fire door inspections and fire safety training. We work with landlords, businesses and organisations across the North West, North Wales and the West Midlands, and the team has continued to grow as demand for our services has increased.
The award was also reported by the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce, of which we are a member.
